This beautiful afternoon turned into a great time for a blueberry picking hike. We headed south on the Blue Ridge Parkway about 30 minutes to get to a good berry trail. Buckets in hand, we hiked in:
ZB and her buddy had instructions not to eat from their mama's buckets, but to pick their own berries.
Reed managed to keep picking/eating ratio pretty even.
Wild mountain blueberries are definitely one of my favorite things about living in these mountains!
